Liability Waiver & Release

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

I acknowledge that participation in the ThirdEyeCinematics cinematography masterclass involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Handling camera equipment, lighting equipment, and other filmmaking tools
• Physical activity during on-location shooting and equipment setup
• Potential for equipment damage or malfunction
• Interaction with other participants and workshop activities
• Travel to and from workshop venue and shooting locations

2. Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this workshop, whether known or unknown, and understand that these risks could result in personal injury, property damage, or other loss.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the workshop, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue:

• ThirdEyeCinematics and its organizers
• Workshop instructors, including Ravi Varman ISC and Vijay Mohan
• Venue owners and operators
• Equipment providers and sponsors
• All affiliated organizations and their representatives

From any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, or injury to person or property that may be sustained during or related to the workshop.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the released parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities arising out of my participation in the workshop, including reasonable attorney fees.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization

In the event of illness or injury, I authorize the workshop organizers to:

• Secure necessary medical treatment
• Transport me to a medical facility if needed
• Contact emergency contacts listed in my registration

I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred.

6. Equipment Use & Responsibility

• I will use all equipment safely and as instructed by workshop staff
• I am responsible for any equipment assigned to me during the workshop
• I will report any equipment damage or malfunction immediately
• I may be liable for repair or replacement costs for damaged equipment due to negligence or misuse

7. Photo & Video Release

I grant permission to ThirdEyeCinematics to use photographs and video recordings taken during the workshop for:

• Marketing and promotional materials
• Social media and website content
• Educational purposes and workshop documentation

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing at registration.

8. Insurance

I understand that workshop organizers do not provide health, accident, or equipment insurance for participants. I am responsible for obtaining my own insurance coverage if desired.

9. Compliance with Rules

I agree to comply with all workshop rules, safety guidelines, venue regulations, and instructions from workshop staff and instructors.

10. Severability & Governing Law

If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.

11. Acknowledgment

By checking the liability waiver box during registration, I acknowledge that:

• I have read and fully understood this waiver
• I am voluntarily agreeing to its terms
• I am 18 years of age or older (or have parental/guardian consent)
• This waiver is legally binding on me, my heirs, and personal representatives
